Washington [US], March 13 (ANI): Rock band Oasis Sony Music has announced that they will be releasing an accompanying film for their much-anticipated upcoming reunion tour.
The creators mentioned that the director of Peaky Blinders Steven Knight is overseeing the production of the film, and Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace The pair will helm the project. They have previously directed "Meet Me in the Bathroom," a documentary on the 2000s rock scene in New York, as well as "Shut Up and Play the Hits," a documentary about LCD Soundsystem, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The release date for this project has not been announced yet. Sony Music Vision will handle distribution duties. According to reports, Magna Studios, known for titles like "Beastie Boys Story" and "Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now," is behind the production of this film as well.
Liam and Noel Gallagher have not gotten along for many years, leading to Oasis Embark on an eagerly awaited concert tour in 2025 with the band. They'll perform their initial gigs since disbanding in 2009 right before headlining a show in Paris. Last August, the group announced their reunion via X (previously known as Twitter), according to reports from various sources.
Oasis The tour begins in Wales this July, followed by performances throughout England, Scotland, and Ireland. The North American segment will kick off in Toronto and include shows at Soldier Field in Chicago, the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, and MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Additionally, they have scheduled two concerts in Mexico City, according to the source.
