
US sensation Cody Johnson, who has earned numerous accolades, expressed that being the headline act at the UK's largest country music festival this weekend is of utmost importance to him.
The C2C event spans three days across Belfast, Glasgow, and London.
Johnson will lead off the event at the SSE Arena in Belfast on Friday evening prior to heading to the additional locations.
It is the first time he has played in the UK.

Ahead of his C2C performance, Johnson stated that audiences can anticipate an abundance of energy.

Janet Devlin from Northern Ireland will also be appearing at C2C; she participated in The X Factor back in 2011.
The musician is set to perform a special concert at the Limelight in Belfast on Saturday night, followed by a performance at the O2 Arena in London on Sunday.
The person from County Tyrone mentioned that hosting C2C in Belfast was "incredible," and they were thrilled to participate, as they were "quite a late addition."
She also playfully mentioned that one of the highlights for her was getting a complimentary pass to see some of her favorite musicians perform.

The announcer will co-host the event at the SSE Arena on Friday alongside John Kerr is the host of CDRNEWS Radio Ulster's country music program. .
